Summary:

Ginseng is seeking a self-motivated TESOL content development intern, responsible for planning, developing, and sometimes disseminating content via various social media channels. This is strictly an online position.

This is an unpaid internship, but as educators we will do everything possible to make this a valuable learning experience aligned with your own professional objectives.


Responsibilities:

The TESOL Content Intern will be responsible for the development of visual instructional materials to be shared widely on The Ginseng English Blog. See examples below:

 
 
  • Develop and maintain communications calendar aligned with the company's outreach goals;

  • Develop and share social media posts that teach/illustrate language concepts and patterns of interest to English learners (see examples below);

  • Cultivate and expand Ginseng’s social media following in accordance with the company’s outreach strategy;

  • Report weekly to administrative director on progress, trends, and insights.


Qualifications:

  • TESOL degree or certificate; experience teaching a big plus;

  • Complete familiarity with Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook; additional social platforms a plus;

  • Some graphic design skill;

  • Exemplary written English;
