Summary:

Ginseng is seeking a self-motivated communications intern, responsible for planning, developing, and disseminating content via various social media channels. This is strictly an online position.

This is an unpaid internship, but as educators we will do everything possible to make this a valuable learning experience aligned with your own professional objectives.

 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain communications calendar aligned with the company's outreach goals;

  • Develop and share social media posts that teach/illustrate language concepts and patterns of interest to English learners (see examples below);

  • Cultivate and expand Ginseng’s social media following in accordance with the company’s outreach strategy;

  • Track and analyze trends in audience response to social posts;

  • Report weekly to administrative director on progress, trends, and insights


Qualifications:

  • Complete familiarity with Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook; additional social platforms a plus;

  • Some graphic design skill;

  • Exemplary written English;

  • English teaching experience or interest in teaching English a big plus;
